About Us

Need of Green is the Italian tribute band, based in Tuscany, that brings the explosive energy and rebellion of Green Day to the stage.

Born from a passion for Californian punk rock, Need of Green faithfully recreates the live performances of Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt, Tré Cool and Jason White, giving audiences in Italy and abroad the authentic experience of a Green Day concert.

From "Dookie" to the successes of "American Idiot" and "21st Century Breakdown", all the way to the recent "Saviors", the band traces thirty years of punk rock history, combining technique, passion and that right dose of stage anarchy that has made Green Day a worldwide legend.

More than just a cover band: with over 200 live shows in Italy and abroad, Need of Green have established themselves as a reference point in the Italian tribute band scene, bringing the punk rock attitude to clubs, festivals and theaters.
